Bio

Antonio De Luca is an italian software developer, designer and inventor.

He written the first code on a VIC 20 and after never stopped to write programs. During the 13 years of his experience he worked in various contexts and levels (LinkedIn) developing PHP (primarily) and JAVA/C# (secondarily) applications for web and desktop purposes.

He is strongly convinced that software complexity is totally reducible using an high level modelling approach based on standards like BPMN, UML and ER and applying a good and continuous communication with involved people under an Agile Development recursive path.

He likes various development methodologies (TDD, MDD and DDD), programming languages (PHP, JAVA, C#, C/C++ and Javascript) and particular products/projects for the improvement of coding at various levels (Visual Paradigm, NetBeans, Zend Framework, Spring MVC, ASP.NET MVC, Doctrine, (N)Hibernate, Entity Framework, JQuery). However 'horses for courses'...and at the end he always only says that a software developer cannot be happy if he is not using design patterns in his daily job because those represents the Feng Shui of the Software Development.

He is a Zend Certified Engineer (Zend Yellow Pages) and currently preparing for various other certifications.

His interests are Emergent Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Architectures, Innovative Web Applications, Software Frameworks, Singularity and Transhumanism.
