Big Problem Solved: PLEASE READ HOW!
Here is my story: :pop
3 months ago I posted a thread in this forum which was never answered (asp). Then I begun to shop around for a developer who could help - in my area, online and on Joomla forums developer. I was absolutely ready to pay. I spent 3 months going from one to another - they all took the job and let me down saying: that cannot be done - impossible!!! Not even "sorry I don't know" no no...that cannot be done like - I am the best so I KNOW that cannot be done!
Every time 2 weeks were gone, and another 2 weeks and another 2 weeks with different guys and females for that matter - and I was stuck, I was near loosing a big client and probably my reputation.
And a miracle happened: out of desesparation, I went back to the developer forum and picked one - did not work and the last one...I had lost hope but I thought I would try this last one and then take a big chunk of courage, call my client and tell him : sorry..no can do and probalby loose the client.

So I sent Antonio an email - he replied right away which was already a good sign but I had that before. I sent him all info about my problem - my login and everything - he said that he was very busy but if I could wait a bit, he was sure he could solve my problem.
I also had that before...many times. But that was my last shot anyway so, I waited - no big hope here - totally expecting an email saying "that cannot be done" after yet another 2 weeks lost.
And one day, not even a week later, Antonio sent me a email asking me to check my asp test...IT WAS WORKING!!!!!
We are talking about an asp.net app that I had to set up with a linux/unix on a joomla site with chilisoft...cannot be done...
Antonio does not send you an invoice. You want to make a donation, and you'd better otherwise I'll be on your back :-) you make a donation but for some reason he does not charge to help.
This guy KNOWS what he is doing - he is humble and adorable - polite and sweet (never met him, he is in Italy)
Of course I will send him a big donation - I don't even know what he should have because what he did for me has no price.

My conclusion here would be that some developers seem to be very spoiled and lost their ability to understand how we can struggle with a problem if we are near loosing the client. When Antonio says: I will help, he MEANS it! He knows you are in trouble. He understands.
All the developers out there that act like all the one I contacted before Antonio should , may be, think again about somthing called..humanity - community? I know we all work on machines. But please...don't become one!
Here is what Antonio said (emailed) when I kept on thanking him over and over again..(he is italian)

Thanks for your attention. I hope this thread will not disappear from the forum because I really want ALL of you to PASS THE WORD about Antonio and help him as much as you can, like he will help you if you need.
We use the word "community". That should have a strong meaning and that meaning should be respected. Don't take anything for granted. You can loose it all in one second. And what will be left will be: the help of others.

A great person to work with. He walked me step by step through the process and answered all my questions along the way. The final product was much more than I expected.Antonio De Luca is VERY professional and provides excellent quality work, and I will definately use his services again and would recommend him to anyone wanting completion of a hassle project.
