JooFox Content Header help you to sostitute the repetitive <h1><?php echo $mosConfig_sitename; ?></h1> of your Joomla installation with an autogenerated string that contain the title alias of requested content.
The presence of the H1 tag with its relative
optimized content is one of most important things to look for when
authoring a new web page. Search engines calculate your page ranking
using two type of factors: On Page Factors and Off Page Factors.
On Page Factors are less important than Off Page Factors but they are
however very usefull. Principal H1 tag optimization is one of On Page Factors and its importance is second only to the correct management of the page TITLE tag.
H1 tag would
have to contain ONLY the keywords for which you want to optimize the
page. Next week we will see also how choice the right keywords to get
success. For now you should know only that you must give a lot of
importance to the H1 tag.
First of all is important not to use useless
terms as the, a, an, with, etc. You should use only the words that best
describe the page content and ABOVE ALL that are compatible with your
promotional targets.
For not write a
series of words withous sense is advisable to use a separator character
as the pipe | symbol that is usually represented by the second function
of the back-slash \. Moreover is important to write few and
representative words let alone to avoid repetitions absolutely. The
less words the H1 tag will contain, the greater value its content will
have.
JooFox
Content Header automate this task in a simple way and with respect of
contents leggibility. You should use the Title Alias of every items of your site to
specify the string that JooFox Content Header will use in H1 tag
generation process. All you write in the Title Alias will appear into
the JooFox Content Position when relative content is called.
When you have
finished to install the module you must also associate and publish it
to a template position. Supposing, for example, that you want to use
the user9 position, you will have to modify your template for
replacing the section <h1><?php echo $mosConfig_sitename; ?></h1> with the following code: <?php mosLoadModules ('user9', -1); ?>.
When
your uses will interact with different components of your site, JooFox
Content Header will simply show the standard Joomla Site Name as
reported in the general configuration.

However a brilliant article has been written to support what this module is all about.
